My client challenged me to transform a very tired house, requiring a considerable amount of building work, into a dynamic and contemporary dwelling. Space and light were important, so with this in mind I took the bold decision to switch around the typical positions of the kitchen and drawing room. The result is a functional cooking and dining area in the front and a vast sociable living space at the back. Happy house, happy client.
A stone's throw from Stamford Bridge, I was briefed to turn this typical terraced townhouse into a charming, comfortable and chilled living space for my client. The basement contains a large sofa and wide TV where the family can relax, whilst upstairs the living space is functional and spacious.
The perfect setting to frame my client's modern art was the brief behind this particular project in a mews house tucked away in a corner of Little Venice. A returning client asked me to refurbish his latest home and make it modern and cosy. A 70's colour theme was produced in the Master Bedroom using chocolate brown velvet with an accent of silver, whilst purple dominates the Living Room.
Originally configured as bedsits, I oversaw the renovations, layout design and conversion of this building into a comfortable family home. The interior is an eclectic mix of old and new, and after paying special attention to the lighting the house comes into it's own at night.
